Frontier Design Group is building a suite of decision support tools to help governors of a large family office better understand how systems thinking can improve governance-level decision-making. These tools will help assess the systemic quality of strategies presented to the board and are being developed and tested now with governors and executives. Examples include, a Governance Prototype, which offers a typology of board meetings (focused on context, leverage, resources, or reflection) with corresponding key performance questions (KPQs) structured according to new Agenda Templates that are being prototyped. The testing and finalization of these tools is ongoing.
